HILL Top remain top of the East Yorkshire Cricket Alliance Premier Division following their victory at Airmyn.

Sutton-on-Hull stay second after beating Hessle and Beverley Town climb to third after they overcame Cottingham.

Kirk Ella drop to fourth place after losing at Patrington, Newland picked up their first victory of the season by beating North Ferriby and HICE had a comfortable win against South Holderness.

Airmyn scored 176 all out against Hill Top, who reached their target for the loss of just one wicket with brothers Laurence Wilkinson (72no) and Fergus Wilkinson (80no).

Beverley scored 154 for 8 against Cottingham with James Broekhuizen (33), Ali Brumfield (38) and Tim Forden (33no) making useful contributions, while Graeme Furlong took 5 for 35.

Cottingham were all out for 147.

Dan Furlong top scored with 47, while Guy Brumfield (4 for 30) and Kieran O'Brian (3 for 26) were the successful bowlers for Beverley.

South Holderness were out for just 61 at HICE with Barry Young (3 for 10), Rob Hodges (3 for 20) and Liam Walker (2 for 12) doing the damage.

David Barker scored 37no as Ionians cruised to an eight- wicket victory.

North Ferriby were out for 94 at Newland with Matthew Hudson and Rich Duncan both scoring 25, while Chris Fox (3 for 10) and Andy Roulston (3 for 38) were the hosts' successful bowlers.

Paul Duncalf top scored with 28 as Newland eased home to a six-wicket victory.

Matthew Dennison took 3 for 25.

Patrington rattled up 198 for 9 hosting Kirk Ella with Glen Ratcliffe top scoring with 70, Jamie McKinley (40) and Simon Rowbottom (28) adding good support, while Howard Robson (4 for 55) and Mark Weighill (3 for 43) were the visitors' wicket takers.

Kirk Ella were all out for 155 with Robson (34), Andrew McConnell (32) and Andy Russell (28) being the main run scorers. Ratcliffe completed a good game by taking 3 for 37.

Hessle scored 145 all out against Sutton-on-Hull.

Luke Picken top scored with 38 and Gareth Nicholls added 27, while Phil Daniels (5 for 23) and Barry King (3 for 24) were the wicket takers.

Sutton reached their target for the loss of three wickets with John Matthews (51no), Paul Ollett (39no) and Matt Wood (24) seeing them home.

HUMBLETON took over at the top of Division One with a victory at Eastrington.

Hessle beat Skirlaugh to move into third.

Pelican slipped to fourth after drawing at Hull and Cottingham picked up their first victory of the season against Sutton-on-Hull.

Sutton totted up 159 for 8 with Ryan Peck (31), G Owens (37) and Adam Patterson (27) the run scorers.

Cott were led to a six-wicket victory by Ken Parker (54) and Rabbi Gulam (53) while Stuart Hilton took 3 for 27.

Eastrington scored 192 for 8 hosting Humbleton, Matthew Colven scoring 51, Will Kendall 42no and Matthew Oates 29, Joe Harrison (3 for 29) and Rob Johnson (3 for 45).

Humbleton cruised to a seven-wicket victory with Tom Peyman (55), Joe Harrison (32), Rob Johnson (34no) and Mark Oaks (30no).

Skirlaugh scored 188 for 8 at Hessle with Sam Blank (53) and Andy Martin (46), while Chris Inglis took 6 for 17.

Paul Leeman led the way with 67 as Hessle reached their target for the loss of seven wickets. Trevor Smith took 3 for 44 for Skirlaugh.

Hull scored 174 for 7 hosting Pelican with Dave Stathers 37 no., Neil Gibson 30 and Dave Rudd 28 while Mark Smedley took 2 for 25. Pelican closed on 125 for 8 to earn a draw with Jonny Ellis (29) and Jonny Chapman (25). Ben Stathers was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 25.
