Woman, 67, charged over death of cyclist Sam Brown, 15, on B1230
A WOMAN has been charged with killing a teenage cyclist on the B1230.
The 67-year-old woman is accused of causing the death of Sam Brown, 15, by careless driving.

The charge states she was over the legal drink-drive limit.
Sam died after his bike was hit by a car as he cycled towards his home in Gilberdyke after visiting friends in Howden.

The accident happened on the stretch of road in Eastrington on September 6.
His friend, who was also cycling, was hit and suffered fractures.
The woman has also been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failing to report a collision.
She will appear at Beverley Magistrates Court later this month.
