​ A Hull woman leapt to her death off the Humber Bridge.

crews were called to the scene at about 10am yesterday after a woman in

her 60s reportedly jumped off the bridge, close to the A63.

Roberts, spokesman for Humber Rescue, said: "We were called out by the

coast guard, because they thought the lady had jumped into the river.

"We discovered she had jumped on to land, so Humberside Police were called.

"It was towards Clive Sullivan Way, on a nearby field under the bridge."
