You two are both right Charlie's and talk a load of TOSH! Why would this bridge become a 'suicide venue' when it would be just as easy if not easier to jump off the unguarded walkway, the extra height of the bridge say 1 - 2 meters would have no bearing on the outcome of any attempts whatsoever, so what is your logic thinking why the bridge will lead to more suicide attempts? Desperate people will allways find a way and this bridge will NOT aid them in any way.
Presumably you'd both have been happier if the bridge had'nt been built and if the proposed new Bistro's and shops etc (which were only 48 Hrs away from happening before the recession hit 4 years ago) New bridges , Bistro's and shops etc can & do breath new life into run down areas and give us all somewere nice / different to go for entertainment.”
