DIVISION One leaders Hull & Y. P. I. III got back to winning ways with a comfortable win at Hull Ionians Coal Exporters.

The home side made just 113 all out before the table toppers cruised to an eight-wicket victory.

Patrington II stay second after their demolition job on Cottingham and remain 21 points behind.

Patrington scored 288 for 8 with Ian Buss leading the way with 153 and Jamie McKinley adding 62 while John Ewens took 5 for 41.

Cottingham were then all out for 108 with only Carl Bray (25) showing any resistance against the bowling of Chris Blanchard (3 for 19) and Mark Todd (3 for 17).

Humbleton stay third after being on the wrong end of a draw with fourth-placed Newland.

Pelican got the better of a draw at Sutton to consolidate fifth.

Pelican scored 203 for 8 with Andy Roulston (41) and Phil Dawson (36) leading the way, while M Lucas took 4-29.

Sutton scored 156 for 8 in reply to earn a draw. Martin Francis top scored (42) and Roulston took 3 for 32.

Eastrington eased their relegation fears by getting the better of a draw with North Ferriby.

Eastrington's score of 192 for 6 was built on an opening partnership of 113 between Paul Briggs (94) and Nev Reed (21), while bowlers Steve Knight (4-35) and Keith Rowlin (2-34) shone.

Ferriby closed on 166 for 8 to earn a draw with Shaun Edmonds (56no) and Graham Broadley (31) the main run scorers while Gary Laverack took 2 for 23.

Wawne stay bottom after losing to Beverley Town. Wawne were all out for 138 with Paul Coneyworth (38) and Nicky Swann (30 not out) impressing and Jamie Nowell taking 3 for 26.

Beverley reached their target for the loss of five wickets with Ray Teal top scoring with 46.
