HULL Zingari Cricket Club celebrated a successful year as youngsters from the club received honours at the club's presentation evening.

The under-11s, in particular, did the club proud with one of the best campaigns in Zingari's history at that age group.

Team coach Tim Rice said: "We played 16 games this season and won them all.

"The greatest moment of the season was the four-wicket victory over Cottingham in the cup final.

"Having lost the cup final for the past two seasons it was brilliant for everyone associated with the junior section that we could go one step further."

Jack Salt was named the best bowler for the under-11s team, while manager's player of the year went to Matthew Jessop.
