Fire alarms sees Hull Trains passengers evacuated
PASSENGERS had to be evacuated from a Hull train this afternoon after a fire alarm went off.
Service on the 9.48am from London King's Cross to the city centre was disrupted at about 12pm around Grantham as firefighters investigated the cause of the false alarm.
A spokesman for First Hull Trains said: "It has been given the all-clear but has caused some disruptions. Things should be moving along again quite quickly.
"We had to take the necessary course of action and it is not yet known what set the alarm off."
