Welcome to The Spa Bridlington...

Following a £20.5 million refurbishment in 2008, The Spa Bridlington describes itself as the east coast's premier venue for meetings and events. Whether it's a meeting for two or an event for 3,800, The Spa Bridlington can accommodate almost any activity from banquets, weddings, exhibitions, training events, parties or music concerts.

As well as hosting some of the biggest names in music such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul Weller, Oasis and Jessie J, The Spa Bridlington is now the exclusive home of the Yorkshire International Business Convention (YIBC). The venue has hosted the YIBC since 2008, alongside a sister event in Harrogate and latterly Leeds, but from 2013, The Spa Bridlington will host exclusively, a sign of the organiser's faith in Bridlington and the venue.

As well as the Royal Hall, which has a capacity of 3,800, The Spa Bridlington has an Edwardian two-tier theatre in luxurious red and gold which seats 675 and complete presentation and performance facilities.

Leading up to Christmas The Spa Bridlington has the staple list of events you would expect to find at an entertainment venue, from pantomime, which this year is 'Beauty and the Beast' and stars Big Brother winner Craig Philips and CBBC's Simon Grant, to 'A Christmas Carol' and the Vienna Festival Ballet's 'The Nutcracker'.

Following the refurbishment in 2008, The Spa Bridlington now has a flexible range of function rooms that are set in breath taking surroundings with views overlooking sandy beaches, and the North Sea. All rooms come with full technical facilities and the whole building is accessible to visitors with disabilities. The Spa Bridlington's in-house catering team, which includes a full time executive chef, sous chef and two chef de parties offer corporate entertaining and a bespoke hospitality services, whether it's afternoon tea, buffets, banqueting or gourmet dining the on-site catering team allows for a fine dining experience.

The Spa Bridlington has a café and gallery allowing members of the public to enjoy a drink and bite to eat and at lunchtime an opportunity to relax and enjoy their refreshments whilst being entertained by the café pianist. The Gallery offers an exciting, easily accessible, contemporary display space for an eclectic mix of artwork, from photography to canvasses, oils, acrylics, watercolours and mixed media work.

This has been recognised with The Spa Bridlington winning 'Remarkable Conference Venue' for the last two years at the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards, which it also hosted in 2011. The awards celebrate the achievements of businesses across Hull and the East Riding. Most recently The Spa Bridlington was highly commended by WRA in the 'Business Tourism' category at the White Rose Awards.
