A number of services are available to help anyone still out of their homes after the flooding one year ago today.

Both councils in East Yorkshire can be contacted for help and advice.

Hull City Council can be reached on (01482) 300300 and East Riding Council on (01482) 393939.

If you have any issues with insurers, call the Financial Ombudsman Service’s consumer helpline on 0845 0801800 or 020 79640500 from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The Citizens’ Advice Bureau can also offer help. Call the Hull office on (01482) 224608 or visit www.hullcab.org
