Help offer top services to Hull visitors

07:00 - 12-May-2008

COMPANIES across Hull and the East Riding could benefit from a new scheme being offered by the city's World Trade Centre (WTC).

The centre is seeking to form business service partnerships with firms to help paint a positive picture of the city to UK and international visitors.

Companies capable of supplying a consistently high standard of goods and services are being invited to apply to sign up for the partnership deals.

In return, they will receive recommendations from staff at the WTC.

The scheme is expected to benefit a number of sectors across the region, including caterers, hoteliers, transport services including taxis, chauffeurs and airport shuttles, health clubs and gyms and dry cleaners.

A newsagent is also being sought by the WTC to supply it with a range of local, national and international news publications.

Companies interesting in applying are asked to write to WTC operations manager Leahann Mollon at One Humber Quays, Wellington Street West, Hull, HU1 2BN, by Wednesday.

Applications should include details of why the company should be selected for the partnership deals.

For further information, call Ms Mollon on (01482) 485211 or e-mail leahann.mollon@wtchull.com

WTC Hull and Humber is funded by Yorkshire Forward and Hull City Council, and is supported by UK Trade and Investment and the University of Hull. It is the only World Trade Centre on mainland Britain and is a member of global organisation the World Trade Centres Association.
