Hessle firm's free safety course

AN EAST Yorkshire company is offering a free health and safety course to celebrate moving to new premises.

SHEilds Health and Safety will be running the course, aimed at managers, owners and directors of businesses, on Friday, May 23 – the official opening day of its new offices.

The company has moved from Hall Road, north Hull, to Priory Park, Saxon Way, Hessle.

The ceremony will be carried out by Hull West and Hessle MP Alan Johnson.

There are currently around 20 places left on the course, which leads to the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety Directing Safety (IOSH) qualification, and SHEilds is urging those interested in taken part to get in touch over the next few days.

Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, but those interested must contact SHEilds before the opening ceremony.

Companies taking part will save in the region of £290 plus VAT.

The ceremony begins at 11am and the ribbon will be cut by Mr Johnson at 11.30am.

There will then be an opportunity for networking before the training course commences at 1pm.

It is due to finish at 5pm.
