Caught On Camera: new suspects - cases 57 & 77-85 >vid
CCTV stills of the men have been released to the Mail as part of the latest installment of the Caught On Camera campaign.
This batch includes people wanted for theft, assault and for using counterfeit currency.
Case reference 57 shows the two men steal the television sets, worth £260, from the Asda store on Mount Pleasant on October 2, 2008.
Case reference 83 shows a man wanted in connection with an assault on a man and a woman in Sgt Peppers, Hull city centre, on January 23.
The Caught On Camera initiative has already cracked many cases, with the help of Mail readers.
The scheme publishes CCTV images in the Mail and on our website of people who police want to speak to in connection with various offences.
Detective Sergeant John Fuller, of Humberside Police, said: "Anyone who can identify the people in this or any of the other case files would be helping us hugely in our inquiries."
The move to restart the initiative, which previously ran for a number of years, reflects a fresh impetus within the force to tackle these offences, as well as improvements in the quality of CCTV footage.
Officers want to appeal not only to people who read the Mail in print, but also the growing number of users of www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk.
Each image published by the Mail in print or online has a corresponding case number.
A hotline has been set up in Humberside Police headquarters at Priory Road, west Hull, for readers to call.
Anyone with information should call (01482) 578025 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
