Fire crews called after a man falls from scaffolding in Lime Street

FIRE-fighters rescued a man who had fallen from scaffolding into a dry dock in Hull.

The 40-year-old casualty was assisted at a location in Lime Street at about 1.26pm today.

Fire crews used a basket stretcher and rope rescue equipment to pull the man out, who was then cared for by paramedics.

It is not yet known how badly injured he is.
