I thought I'd been banned until I went into my profile and followed a link from a comment from Flossy.

I do wish the Mods were more vocal on this site. They could go some way into nipping arguments in the bud and openly explaining why some things get deleted. As I've said before, other newspapers/forums have a set phrase next to the poster's name that says "This comment has been removed because of x" which helps to make sense of threads that suddenly have big holes in them when someone goes a bit trigger happy on the "report" button.
