“Never had a problem with getting the size I want, though thinking about it I suppose I am 'medium'.
It must be a man thing now because women's shops usually stock a great range of sizes. Even the ones aimed at teenagers. And they are usually sized by number.” -

“It`s usually because there aren`t many `medium` sized men around so they are the sizes that get left.
In womens fashion size 14/16 is the most popular. Luckily I`m a 10 so get plenty of choice.” -

I like fine nibs on pens because I write heavily and medium nibs start to smudge.” -

I don't know about you but wherever I go to buy something, whether it be in a shop or online, it is becoming the norm that it is available only in medium. Getting something you want that is not medium is a right faff!
"Sorry sir, we only have it in medium". "Why do you only have it medium?" "Because we do". "Could you not get it in extra large or very fine for me?" "It wouldn't be easy" (I take this to mean that either they really cannot be bothered to try or the company has a medium only policy). Very infuriating . . . . . . grrr.”
