“You have a date - when I no longer need a CRB check.
I agree with you and don't know anything about being let off without a caution but sentencing in court has a lot has to do with mitigating circumstances and if the woman has children. The authorities are concerned about what will happen to her children if she is imprisoned both for their sakes and the cost to the country of putting them into care. That's why you usually find that if a couple commit a first time crime together, the man is given a prison sentence and the woman has hers suspended.
So on second thoughts, unless the arresting officer has a dog, perhaps I'd better not come with you after all :(”
“Women who have committed their first offence and are arrested are to be let off without caution or record ... I think this is wrong and does nothing for equality .. the crime commissioner said on radio women are more emotional and open up .... on that note whats your views and would any of you ladies like to come shopping in town ... if its your first time leave your purse at home ;)”
