“If this is the case then on no level can it be right. I would however say to yourself and the lady who is a foster carer and posted recently, the only way forward is to write to your David Cameron and copy in your M.P. if they get enough grief from their constituents they will raise the matter in parliament. This is what we pay our politicians for.”

“If someone is in the armed services and living at home then how much housing benefit will the household be eligible for? I'd imagine.... none? So that would mean they receive more housing benefit than if the person remained at home?
Disabled people are allowed an additional room if they have a full time carer.
It will all be changing when universal benefit comes in anyway. Best get on with researching who will be worst done to by that, eh? Will it be poor orphan little Timmy, or another blow to our brave boys (gawdblessem)?”

“tosh1958
If someone is in the armed forces, then they aren't living at home. They are living in a military camp somewhere so why do they need a bedroom in their parents' house?
I don't know what good you think you're doing by continually posting this subject on here. Do you seriously think that David Cameron reads this?”
“"The bedroom tax applies to all of those in the armed services serving away for more than 13 weeks and the sick and disabled who may need a spare room from time to time but it doesn't apply to those family's who currently have someone serving time in prison.”
