“Commissionaire? Surely it should read Commissioner. One is a person that hails taxis and opens doors for the wealthy. The other would be the Police Commissioner as in being in general charge of the Humberside Police.
I do not think having JP stood outside Police HQ, working for £75,000 opening and closing doors makes sense. However if we mean the person elected by Humberside ratepayers to lead and advise the Police then yes, frankly, it makes sense. He's got my vote.”

“The election of Police and Crime Commissioners is at the heart of the
Government's plan to cut crime. They will reconnect the public and the police,
and allow us to replace bureaucratic accountability to Whitehall with
democratic accountability to local communities. As a result the police will
have greater freedom and discretion to fight crime as they see fit within a
rebalanced and strengthened tripartite structure.

“so its the governments idea to cut crime by getting these police commissioners to talk to them is it? dont make me laugh. its this lousy stinking government thats causing more crime with the cuts in the police they are making. along with the rediculouse sentensing council making the rules and stupid bloody soft sentences that they make and tie the hands of the judges. and not forgetting that pathetic piece of a human being that they call the justice secretary bloody hopeless cretin clarke the one who is the criminals best friend who wants less scum inside. the whole idea of it is a joke.”

“i would start at the top aand sack the lot of them and start all over again ,, i would stop sending aid to other countrys that just use the money towards war , i would make any 1 at 60 retire and let all young uns have a chance , and get rid of computers in the major work places ,and tell birds to stay at home were they should be ?????????????????????”

“Yes wozza that should about do it.
But can I ask who are you going to "start all over again" with?
Apollo will be back to comment on your 'computer' policy though. I suspect he will be asking you to lead by example on that one.
And to all his fans, wozza isn't talking about 'working mums' - he is talking about 'females'.
We are doooooomed!”

“wozza
Just been thinking. Why don't you stand for parliament next time we have an election and put your ideas forward to the general public?
Of course you will have to have an answer as to what will happen to all the 'birds' who are currently working. Not every woman is lucky enough to be married to you so what about all those women who do not have partners (for whatever reason) and need an income? Will all women immediately go onto benefits as soon as they leave school, or are we wasting our valuable resources educating them after the age of 11 in the first place?
Which brings me to a point I made before. Almost every primary school teacher/teaching assistant/dinner 'lady' is female so if we stop them working how can we run our schools? Even secondary schools and further education employ a lot of female staff.
And as for the retiring at 60. Does that mean that everyone can draw a state pension at 60? Now that you have destroyed education will there even be young people able to take over their jobs?
But I can see your cunning plan because if we stop women working the NHS will collapse and very few of us will even reach 60.”

“I think Mr Prescott would make a good Commissioner. I worked in the public transport sector when he got the transport portfolio in 1997 and a good job he made of taking on the road lobby. Along with Barbra Castle, he was alone in taking on this undemocratic thorn in the UK's side. Should he be selected as a candidate, he will secure my vote. Good luck Lord Prescott!”

“to marfleetmike. ill tell you what kind of government we want. one that stops giving money away to other countries when so many cuts are being made in this country. examples= policeforces armed services welfare services and many more. one who gets rid of the hated human rights and bring in a bill of british rights like he said he (cameron) said he would do but like everything else he has renaged on it. deport all the terrorists in this country like qatada and hamsa and all who support them. one who will have the b---s to stand up to those in brussels antell them that this government is running this country as elected by the british people not them. and last but not least a government who really cracks down on crime like they said they would and start by getting rid of hopeless good for nothing criminals friend ken clark. but there again we have been lied to that many times by a gutless spineless turncoat of a prime minister who is scared of foreiners. this lot thats in are ruining this country. thats who we need someone who has the guts to tell others to keep their noses out of the running of this country. thats the kind of govenment we want.”

Start at the top of what?
I take it you mean 'aid' includes selling arms to 3rd world countries in order to make war?
How would you find the extra money to pay for your proposed early retirement pensions?
If you are going to get rid of computers in the major workplaces, how would you process the electronic data from/to overseas countries? Would this include updating Navigation devices that assist people in getting to places like Qatar?
Why should women stay at home? Would you introduce laws to restrict their civil liberties?
And an extra point:
Would you increase spending on basic numeracy and literacy?
Please enlighten me; I look forward to your reply.”

“How would you apply these policies Wozza? You would need the backing of Parliament to start with. First of all, you would have to form the Wozza Party. The next step would be to get enough MP's to form a significant majority in order to get your policies passed.
Naturally, all of this would be achieved on the minimum wage and without the help of Women and computers.
Interesting.”

“Ok then, police with no paperwork. That means no witness statements, no notes taken at scene, no criminal statements, nothing in writing to go to CPS.
Allowing the police to assault children, great idea.
Expenses are and should be, exactly what it says. Many employees get expenses not only MP`s.
And then we have the biggest load of codswallop...minimum wage for all. Heart surgeons, research scientists, right down to plumbers, joiners, electricians all on £6. 15 an hour.
What would be the point of a universaty education or an apprenticeship to get the same wage as a cleaner? Do you earn more than £6.15 an Wozza? I bet the answer is yes.
Bad spelling and grammatical errors I can put up with but you really are an absolute imbecile.
The scary thing is, you really think you are right.”

“wozza
well wot u think
I think that you should lead the way. Get rid of everything in your life that involves a computer (including your mobile phone and sat nav) and ask your boss to put you on a minimum wage.
Then come back to us. Oh, but without any access to the internet you won't be able to will you?”

“wow u lot are weird i understand why u all u hide behind images ,well at least it would be a better start than what these thief's we have in charge at the mo ,
going back to basics is sometimes a better option is it not more jobs and all that,, i seem to be able to sort all your pathetic lifes out for ya??????
if every 1 is on minimum wage no 1 would complain at jonny/joan getting more dosh than them ,
all the jobs that have been lost through us having computers in the work place isnt needed people need to work?? as we have found out now there is very little out there as they are not needed now thanks to computers ,and we have young kids running a mock and not caring at what they do ,
there some positives for computers thought ,,,,,,,,,,,
mr Prescott im coming for that job me thinks lol”

“Wozza's strategy is clear now.
By introducing the National Minimum Wage for everyone, he will take away the need for incentive and subsequently education in order to better one's self. In other words he would bring everyone down to his level. That is one sad philosophy.
I will vote for someone else.”
Saturday, March 03 2012, 12:27PM
“Wonder why wozza thinks that the job that we are supposed to be discussing on here has anything to do with running the country?
"if every 1 is on minimum wage no 1 would complain at jonny/joan getting more dosh than them"
wozza, what part of "if every 1 is on minimum wage no 1 would bother to educate themselves to get a better job and we wouldn't have doctors, dentists, nurses, the police force, the fire service, teachers, computer programmers (though you don't care about that anyway do you?)"
My aunt used to work in a bank in the 1960s (the National Provincial) before banking was computerised and they hand wrote the ledgers. But in those days almost everyone was paid by cash and hardly anyone had bank accounts let alone credit cards, debit cards, direct debits etc.
And yes wozza, jobs have been lost by bringing computers in but many of those jobs (remember typing pools?) were done by 'birds' and you don't want them to work do you?”
