“I would tell myself to keep a detailed daily diary because I would love to be able to look back at my life and relive some of the things that happened.

Sometimes I reminisce with school friends and we have different memories of our shared past. I'd like to know what really happened.”

"I hope this thread isn't going to be about you you you again. ;-))"

No GCtheDJ, it is asking people about what advice that they would give themselves. So anyone that has anything to say on the subject will be talking about themselves. I know that you struggle with complicated concepts - and easy ones come to that - so I hope this helps.

ps Are you allowed out on your own?”

I would have travelled more and skipped a few ex boyfrinds and took a job I was offered in the Labs at smith and nephew when I left school.

But then i wouldn't have met my husband and had my little man who I idolise

I would have tried harder as well - I joked about which cost me a place at oxford .... Loser!

I would have taken a degree in social science - waste of time”

...Oh and next year when you're 12, when riding your mates trial bike, avoid the hole that sends you crashing into a tree breaking your shoulder and collar bone, it will save you a lot of problems later in life;)”

“When you get married in 25 years your partner is going to be unfaithful. Here is a list of people who will fancy you at the time, but who respect the fact that you're married and so don't make their move. Make sure you sleep with every single one of them while married!”

“Work hard at your English lessons and read lots of good quality fiction/non fiction. Having a good command of your native tongue and a formidable vocabulary could open all sorts of doors and allow you to negotiate some advantageous deals for yourself. Knowledge is power but not a lot of use if you can't express yourself effectively. Also, be regular in your habits.”
