Love is in the air at The Deep this half term.
Get set to be amazed at The Deep this February half term as we reveal some of the unique ways in which our animals fall in love. Pick up a quiz sheet at the entrance to the exhibition and follow our ‘love trail’ to discover more about their unusual (and sometimes dangerous!) wooing rituals.
There are a whole range of exciting events available for children of all ages to enjoy . Families can try their hand at badge making in the Explorers’ Den from 11am – 4pm. You can also meet our 12ft frog who has lost his voice and will need some help singing to find a new mate at 11am and 3pm. You can also finish off your visit with a visit to our brand new sea themed soft play area
Children can also enjoy our fun-filled family workshop at 12.30pm which looks at how our animals find their boyfriend or girlfriend.
Scatter feeds will take place at the Lagoon of Light at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm giving you get the chance to see some of our smaller animals being fed.
And don’t forget, you can watch our divers go into the tanks and feed our animals at 2pm every day. Just check with one of our guides as to which tank this will take place at. It’s not to be missed!
