Is it just me who notices how biased the BBC is?

I ENJOY Ian Midgley's column in the Mail. I'm sure I'll disagree with him sometimes, but for now I won't steal his catchphrase "Is It Just Me?", because I know it is just me that realises the £700 billion national debt is down to Iraq/Afghanistan.

£6 billion cuts don't seem wondrous or sensible.

Is it just me who notices BBC bias? Everyone on Newsnight/Question Time/The Politics Show are all pro-gun lobby.

Ridiculous arguments by shooting and conservation people state the Whitehaven killer could have used a car or knife instead.

Well he had access to both, but with those you have some chance.

But the 22,000 shotgun owners in Cumbria (1.3 million nationwide) won't see that.

And if they didn't kill foxes they wouldn't need to kill rabbits, which, sickeningly, is part of the justification for guns.

Again, bias by the BBC promotes hunting and factory farming. They have cookery and useless survivor programmes advocating killing wild animals for food.

I'm certainly sick of the usual two dozen establishment spokespeople jumping from one BBC studio to another.

What chance of Dennis Skinner or Dr Vernon Coleman getting an invite by the BBC?

Yes, it's just me joking, of course. The BBC will always defend the indefensible.

Steve Broom, Hull.
