Three killed in crash on A614 at East Cowick, near Goole
Three people have died today in a crash on an East Yorkshire road.
Two others were fighting for their lives after the two-vehicle accident on the A614 close to East Cowick, near Goole.
Humberside Police said the drivers of both vehicles died in the accident, along with a passenger.
Two others were airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary with what were described as life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened at around 1.35pm where the road crosses the Aire and Calder Navigation canal and Dutch River.
Insp John Lawson, of Humberside Police, asked witnesses to the collision, or motorists who had travelled over the bridge at the time of the accident. Call 101.
