Five is the magic number for Tombolinos
The Magic Tombolinos
An international quintet of travelling musical virtuosos are to spice up Hull's live music scene.
-

spicing it up: The Magic Tombolinos.
The Magic Tombolinos, who were recently seen on the Rob Brydon Christmas Special Show, will play Pave in Princes Avenue, Hull, this weekend, when they'll perform their "frenzied mix of gypsy, klezmer, tango and Balkan music".
The fivesome released their acclaimed debut album Full Attack, With Sudden Defences last year.
Band leader and saxophonist Alejandro Toledo, said: "Our ever-evolving music reflects the way we think and live.
"Our music, among other things, is a conjunction of various influences, from classical, to rock, gypsy, African, middle eastern, Latin, and hip hop rhythms, which we bring from the places we have lived, visited, or simply the music we like, and have filtered through our own distinct voice."
Support on the night comes from Hull's own, but no less exotic, Zagros band.
Where & when: Pave, Princes Avenue, Hull, Sunday, February 5, 7.30pm. Entry £8/£6. Call 01482 333181. www.magictombolinos.co.uk
