Three major schemes 'are still on track'
EAST Yorkshire developer Phil Akrill says three other major schemes he is currently promoting in Hull are still on track.
There have been criticisms over a lack of visible action since planning permiss- ions were granted at each site.
Some have also suffered serious vandal attacks in recent months.
But addressing councillors yesterday, Mr Akrill said the Hilton Hotel Group had signed up to operate a proposed new hotel due to be developed on the site of a former nightclub in Anne Street.

He also said reusing the empty former Co-op building in Jameson Street was waiting for sign-off on an £8 million bid for European funding.
At his mixed residential and leisure scheme at the former Rank Hovis Mill, he said Gala Leisure was in the frame to operate the development's new casino.
