At just 16 years old, Chloe Moretz has a CV most actors would be proud of. With more than 20 films under her belt and numerous television roles, Chloe has become the teen to watch.

Due to be released later this year, her latest lead role is as Carrie in the remake of the 1970s classic of the same name.

Chloe recently attended the Elle Style Awards in London and received the accolade of Next Future Icon.

She lived up to this title by wearing a dress in bang on-trend monochrome colours, a killer pair of heels and a great little put-up.

Choosing a classic hairstyle is always a good idea, but when you are as young as Chloe, it is essential to make the style work for you.

Chloe got it right by wearing the front section smoother and leaving the back area with lots of volume and texture.

If you want to recreate the look at home, you need to start with clean, dry hair. If you have the time, blow-dry your hair with lots of volume at the roots.

If you do not have the time, just spray some Dirty Little Stop Out Volumizing Dry Shampoo through your hair, leave for a minute and then brush or shake out.

This is a great little product as it not only cleanses, it also adds volume and texture to your hair.

Using a session styling hairbrush with soft, flexible bristles, back- comb the crown area of your hair.

Back-combing with a brush gives the same style support a comb does, but with a slightly softer effect.

Leaving the front section to style later, smooth the rest of your hair back and twist into a roll, securing with grips and fine pins.

Make sure you tuck the ends of your hair under as you roll but do not worry about getting it too neat – the slightly scruffy texture gives this classic style a youthful feel.

With the front section, use your straightener to smooth it through but do not over-straighten, as this will make the different textures of the style clash and not work together.

Spray over the final style with a spritz of Fabulous Finish Hairspray to hold the look.

You may need to touch up a looser style like this throughout the night, so make sure you have a couple of extra pins or grips in your bag when you go out, just in case.
