Chart-topping indie bands to play back-to-back gigs at Bridlington Spa
It comes after the entertainment complex officially opened last month after a £19.5m refurbishment.
Brighton band The Kooks will launch their UK tour at the Spa on Friday, November 28 before heading off to venues in Brighton , London and Wales.
Scouting For Girls will play on the Saturday and both are expected to be a sell out.
Jo Clarke, sales and customer services manager at the venue, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to book these bands.
“Both are very current and I am sure there will be a rush for tickets for the concerts.
“We have always thought having back-to-back gigs would be a nice idea, but in this case it was not planned.
“It is easier to put on two rock gigs as everything is in place, like the lighting and sound.”
The Kooks have enjoyed Top 20 success in the singles charts with She Moves In Her Own Way and Always Where I Need to Be.
Fans can also expect to here tracks from their number one album Konk.
Scouting For Girls enjoyed similar fortunes with their singles She's So Lovely and Elvis Ain't Dead, which both reaches the Top 10.
The concerts follow a 3,500 sell-out gig by fellow indie stars The Pigeon Detectives, who performed as part of the Spa's grand launch.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale from the Spa box office on Friday at 9am.
The Kooks are priced at £21.50 plus a£2.50 booking fee and Scouting For Girls tickets are £17.50 plus £1.75 booking fee.
