Historic vehicles took to the roads in their droves as the 42nd East Coast Run took the 30-mile route from East Park to Sewerby.
The event, held yesterday, was open to buses, military and emergency vehicles, classic cars, motor cycles and tractors among other vehicles.
The procession went along the A165 to the cliff tops at Sewerby where there was live music, stalls as well as refreshments.
The run is organised by the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club.
Ernie Lowther, who has been membership secretary of the club for the past 15 years, told the Mail: "It has been brilliant. The field was full. We have had buses, vans, lorries, big Army lorries and we have had people from all over England here."

A military ambulance was among the historic vehicles.
