Cyclist in "stable" condition after A1079 crash

An 18-year-old cyclist hit by a car on the A1079 remains in a stable condition at Hull Royal Infirmary.

Police are appealing for information about the incident that happened on Thursday, February 4 at 10.40pm.

An orange Fiat Punto was travelling along the A1079 in the direction of Market Weighton, when it collided with the male cyclist.

The cyclist is from Beverley, according to officers.
