“ I always choose Thearne over the other big pet shops because you get a real sense they actually really care about the animals. They offer great advice, great products and are really friendly. They only sell good quality pet food not the sort of rubbish that gives your pets dandruff and makes them hungry again 10 minutes later. I went in a few weeks ago for advice about my cat and thanks to their advice my cat no longer has dandruff and looks much shinier :) plus my hamster loves all the little bags of treats they do, It's nice to see a pet shop branding stuff there own instead of only selling big brands! ”

An Excellent pet shop.
“An excellent shop. I Have 2 Akita dogs, and always go in the shop for my supplies. I had my dog microchipped there, a few months ago, which also included free castration. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, if I have a query which they are not too sure about, they always get the manager to come speak to me. Also, im happy to say, theyre not just interested in profit, I went in there about an hour ago, for some flea treatment, and they didnt automatically suggest the most expensive product, they advised me that the cheaper product does exactly the same thing as the more expensive one. I would more than, re commend this shop to anyone. ”

good but not good
“its a nice shop, and cheap too, a couple of the staff are very knowledgeable, others not so, fish from there never last very long, and many of the plants they sell as aquarium plants look nice but are not true aquatic plants at the detriment to your aquarium, only the most common of fish are stocked, they stock a great range of equipment but don't specialize in any particular area, I find this advert a little misleading.”

“Thank you, we do stock a small range of true aquatic plants but as they are more expensive most customers go for our cheaper range. We are very careful with our fish and if you ever have any issues let us know and we will do our best to resolve them. ”

best pet shop in hull
“the only pet shop to shop at in hull there staff are kind helpfull and very knowledgable on all fish etc outstanding value and great quality at rock bottom prices they have a great range of coldwater and tropical fish hamsters and budgies and sell just about anything neeeded for any pet i will now only use thearnes as pets at home etc are expensive and there qualitys are rubbish with like 50 dead fish in all the tanks ...i have never seen any in thearnes keep up the great work you guys do ”
