Breaking News: Hull City into play-off final at Wembley

21:35 - 14-May-2008

Hull City have made it through to the play-off final at Wembley.

It will be the first time the club has appeared at the most famous stadium in the world.

City will now take on Bristol City for a place in the Premier League on Saturday, May 24 after an incredible season.

The Tigers booked their place in the final with a 4-1 win over Watford at the KC Stadium tonight.

Hull-born Nick Barmby scored for City in the first half to cancel out Watford's opener.

Record signing Caleb Folan, Richard Garcia and Nathan Doyle all scored in the second half.

It followed the 2-0 win away at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

The result sent City's black and amber army into raptures, with thousands of fans running on the pitch in delight at the end.
