Tigers song to spur on team

They are hoping to gee up fans and players with the song written five years ago when City moved to the KC Stadium.
All three band members, Ricky Agius, 50, Matt Harvey, 27 and Paul Raper, 51, are city fans
The song was written by Ricky, of Holderness Road, east Hull.
He said: “It's all about promoting the Hull City song and giving the guys a lift in the play-offs.
“I wrote the song when they moved to the KC Stadium. I thought it was a good to get the crowd singing it, but it didn't happen so we are hoping it will happen now and give the fans something to sing about on the push to the Premier League.”
The band performed the song on Saturday for regulars at the Sportsman Bar in Hedon Road, east Hull.
And ahead of tomorrows game with Watford, they want the fans to join in.
Matt Harvey, of east Hull, said: “I have been a Tigers fan all my life.
“I used to go to Boothferry Park in the 1980s. My favourite player is Chris Chilton, but I also like Nicky Barmby.
“My Friend Stan have been together nine years in total, rocking and rolling around the town.
“We are very much a Hull band so we wanted to promote the Hull City song and get the lads going, get them up into the Premier League. We have a new chairman, a new start and we are on our way now, we are on our trip to the Premiership. Next year will be the Champions League.”
Many Tigers fans across the city know My Friend Stan from the local circuit and many still request the Listen To The Tigers Roar song.
