Fantastic food
“ This is our second recent visit to the Black Bull in Burton Pidsea and I'm pleased to say it was just as good as the first time. First time we had the prawn cocktail for starters which were delicious, beautifully presented and plenty of them. For mains we had the chicken and chorizo pasta off the specials board and that too was delicious. This time we had the deep fried Camembert which was also beautifully cooked and presented, then we had the home made steak pie chips and peas on a fantastic offer of 2 for £12.00. The chips were home made and the steak was tender and tasty with a lovely pastry. Staff are very helpful and efficient and we are looking forward to trying the Sunday Carvery sometime soon. A fantastic meal in lovely surroundings. ”

Fantastic!!
“We found the Black Bull 1 sunday now we go every week, we even tried the evening menu on a saturday night both FANTASTIC!! I tried the garlic sirloin sizzler it was amazing the steak cooked to perfection, my wife had Liver and sausage in onion gravy, now that was a good hearty meal which she says was full of taste! The sunday carvery is first class, fresh vegetables, beautiful slices of meat served by a polite, clean chef. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Highly Recommend”

amazing pub food
“try the black bull. its a must! nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff and the food is brilliant. Sunday carvery best anywhere. We've also tried their menu through the week and as good as any top class restaurant. Trying the xmas fayre menu next. highly recommended”

Lovely Carvery
“Just been for a carvery lunch today at the Black Bull in Burton Pidsea. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff very helpful and friendly. I mentioned that it was my friends birthday and that was why we'd gone for lunch, the chef gave her an extra slice of turkey! The food was superb I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I would definitely recommend a trip to the Black Bull. If you plan on going for Sunday Carvery I would book as they quickly fill up.”
