“ Pave is a friendly pub with a top atmosphere where you are free to relax without interruptions. This bar and restaurant on Princes Avenue has the feeling of a jazz bar and makes a refreshing change from other bars in Hull. Furthermore, they have a decent menu with an extensive range of top dishes to choose from. ”

We have a lot of amazing music coming up over the next few months including a new night. Highlights below.
Thurs 24th Nov 8.30 pm Tcha Limberger Kalotaszeg Trio £8/£6
Laments, Czardas’ and Szaporas from the Transylvanian region of Kalotaszeg with the beautiful voice and violin playing of Tcha Limberger.
Tcha Limberger has become recognised as one of the most prominent and important figures in folk music of the Carpathian Basin. On this tour he highlights the style considered to be the most beautiful of all Hungarian music with the highest regarded rhythm section of modern times, Berki Viktor on bass and Toni Rudi on Brac, for over 30 years the accompanists of the regions most famous Primas Neti Sandor.
“This music is little known and I will play it as it is meant to be played. It follows the lives of many from baptism to the grave. It celebrates their communal existence and brings people together in the community of Kalotaszeg”.

“Pave is a great Cafe Bar on Princes Ave . Good food , Great selection of Beers / Wines. A large heated area to the rear is a great bonus in Winter & Summer ! .
All the staff are lovely , Friday and Saturday nights are very busy so if you want a coffee and to read the newspapers its best to go earlier , on the whole Pave has a great atmosphere...Check it out .”

“A fun and cool place to hang out, although it is worth paying a bit more to avoid the house white wine. An older crowd than it used to be, and the beer garden is always packed in the summer.”
