long wait for service
“ visited this pub for first time as we had seen the publicity around it , disappointed with service not at all busy at the bar but waited around 6 minutes at least whilst bar maid talked / served locals who had a drink when we arrived but they sat at the bar, and was served in prefence to us, very annoying then she gave us wrong j20 flavour, she appeared to be doing everything meal service etc. whilst the landlady did paperwork in the bar area ? we ordered meals chips very dark colour but tasted ok, meat pie very nice , left after eating no one said anything regards thanks see you again etc. not a friendly place for out siders im afraid ”
