“ The Wheatsheaf has always been one of the more stand-out pubs in Barton and the surrounding area, and while other pubs in the town are falling foul of the tough economic climate, it has continued its high standards. If you like your beer this is the pub for you, with always at least three or four cask ales on tap. They also do great pub grub, with lunch served from 12 in the week, and specials such as a curry night. While worth a visit, the pub is more those who prefer friendly and warm to loud and rowdy. ”
