“ We visited Siam Buri on Friday 25th January 2013. Booked a table for 9pm.We were warmly greeted and shown to our table when we arrived. The restaurant had a welcoming feel and we were instantly intrigued by the menu. As we were using a Groupon ,i felt it best to clarify what we could order,so basically we had a starter, soup and main with rice ( Duck and Fish dishes were £2.50 extra) My husband had duck rolls for his starter, and I opted for Chicken skewers with a peanut sauce, both were very nice. The soup was beautiful, we both had the same, it was a coconut milk base with chicken and mushroom, spicy and extremely tasty ( we would definitely have it again!) My husband ordered duck in a red wine sauce for his main accompanied by egg fried rice, although he enjoyed it up to a certain degree,he didn't finish it. Although I do think the 'veg' should be better explained as to what is actually being served. My husbands main had pineapple in it, which he cannot stand and I had to remove what I found of it out of his dish, I think he ate a little and it may have spoilt the rest of his meal. If he had known about it prior to ordering, he would have asked for them to omit it, or failing that, not of ordered that particular dish at all. I had a king prawn curry, which were shelled prawns and I had approx 6 at the most for my 'extra' £2.50, the dish was decorated with a beautiful carved rose carrot on a bed of shredded cabbage, which was accompanied with egg fried rice. I managed to eat all mine and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a beautiful Australian red wine to accompany our meal @ £15.99. Our visit is heartily recommended to others. And as we discovered on our way out that if you are NHS staff, if you take your id in, you will get 10% discount !! (obviously this wouldn't apply with a groupon) We will definitely go back for another well deserved visit ! Well done Siam Buri, and thank you for a lovely night. Mr and Mrs H :) ”

Get authentic Thai food at Siam Buri Thai Restaurant in Hull
Traditional Thai food fuses many different flavours and spices from different cultures to form one distinctive cuisine.
Early Thai food in Sukhothai and Attutthaya began as simple meat and fish dishes with rice, vegetables and salty sauces made from fish or shrimps. Over time Thai cooking began using influences from foreign cultures such as China and India and this traditional Thai food became the unique Thai flavours you find today.
Thai meals are traditionally a relaxed and informal affair, even in more affluent households. Steamed rice – either loose grained or sticky, depending on where in the country you are – forms the centrepiece, and soups, currys, spiced salads and other traditional Thai dishes are placed around the rice in order of preference. The meal is then usually finished with a Thai fruit for dessert.
At Siam Buri Thai Restaurant in Hull, we aim to bring you this authentic Thai experience. Our Thai chefs bring authentic Thai food to Hull and our relaxed an informal atmosphere recreates a traditional Thai mealtime. The Thai words Siam Buri in fact even represent Thai traditions, the Thai culture and of course, Thai foods.
Siam Buri is open seven days a week and offers eat in and take away options. At our restaurant we are sure to give you a truly enjoyable experience with friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere.

“Upon recommendation our office orderd lunch from Siam Buri for the first time today, by 9.30am we were already having the discussion of what to have for lunch, the local sandwich shop was promtly ruled out by the carb free posse as was the cafe by the veggie team, so we have given Siam buri a try, the order was phoned through and 20 minutes later it was on our desk and we were eating whilst tweeting. It was really REALLY good, not to much to make you tired but enough to say you have eaten and even better no need to cook this evening.”
