Any one driving 4 times over makes any road a danger. it would make East Park a danger if he drove there.”

“Fair enough I'll correct my statement.

Complaining that 'Safer Roads Humber and the county council highways departments' generate revenue from speed cameras is like complaining that McDonalds generate revenue from selling hamburgers."”

No it isn't... the majority of speed cameras are nothing to do with the Police any more. Safer Roads Humber and the county council highways departments fund them... and reap the rewards .”

I was in a very bad accident there 10 years ago and I was so lucky to be alive a drunk driver 4 times over the limit came round the bend going towards hull on my side of the road which news going towards Beverley. I hope the people involved are goin to be ok.”

“Fair_Comment, I seem to have been misunderstood. A 40 mph limit is enforcable the 40mph 'zone' is illegal and cannot be enforced - there is no such thing as a 40 zone it is a creation of teh ERYC highways dept.

Hookbeak, that is my exact point about Greed cameras, they are there to provide Ruth Gore and her tribe with a job. they don't prevent accidents as this incidents prove perfectly.”

“"Astonomia - there weren't any speed cameras down that road this morning. So how could they prevent anything?"

If there had been, they would have been hidden - so nothing would have been prevented anyway. It's almost as if they are used merely for revenue generation instead of safety.....”

    “AstonomiaSK

I think you will find that quite a few people have been prosecuted for breaking the 40mph speed limit as they exit Hull near Smith and Nephews”
