Get your share of £50,000 of Comic Relief cash
COMMUNITY groups across Hull and East Riding are being urged to make their bid for a share of £50,000 being given away by Comic Relief and the Hull Daily Mail.
The Community Cash scheme provides grants of between £500 and £1,000 to small groups working for their communities.
Last year, scores of local organisations received cash grants in the scheme which is overseen by Two Ridings Community Foundation.
But the deadline for this year’s bids is approaching fast and Comic Relief wants groups to apply now – or miss out.

Sue Wicks of Comic Relief said: “We are delighted to be working with the Hull Daily Mail offering Red Nose Day Community Cash once again to local groups in and around Hull.
“We know from our long experience of grant making in communities all over the UK that local groups can make a huge impact at the heart of their communities with a small amount of money.
“Thanks to these groups, money raised through Red Nose Day can make a real difference where it’s needed most.”
The deadline for applications is Friday, March 15 but groups can easily apply online at
