The award-winning British band will take to the Gibson Amphitheatre stage in California to perform their new single, Violet Hill.
Cabaret act, The Pussycat Dolls, will be showing off their sexy moves as they loosen up the audience with Buttons, before showcasing new song, When I Grow Up, from their latest album, to be released later this summer.
Hosted by Mike Myers, the MTV Movie Awards take place at Universal City on June 1, and will be shown on MTV One on June 2 at 9pm.
British nominees include Keira Knightley, who's up for Best Female Performance, Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Leung - whose on-screen snog in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix won them a Best Kiss nomination - and Jamie Bell, whose fight with Hayden Christensen in sci-fi flick Jumper was chosen for Best Fight.
