SATC ladies funny in real life, says Kristin

08:22 - 16-May-2008

The Sex And The City scripts are always bubbling with laughter and jokes, and Kristin Davis reveals that the four women are just as funny in real life, although in differing ways.

"Cynthia (Nixon) can be very funny in a very dry way. She's very wacky," she admits.

"I'm funny like that I'll trip or fall down or something like that. I'm famous on our set for falling down. For real, not as a joke."

As for Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin, who was in New York promoting the Sex And The City movie, says: "Sarah would describe people or situations. It's always witty and funny. She's hit the nail on the head."

"Kim's (Cattrall) funny more when she messes up her lines. Her rhythms are funny. She'll crack us up more on the set. She has some bold things to say as well."

And the 43-year-old, who plays prim and proper Charlotte, says she does identify with her character.

"Oh gosh, it's hard, in the beginning of the show, people would ask me that and I could tell you very specifically," she recalls.

"Ten years later, it's a little more challenging. I'm hopeful, certainly, but maybe not quite as hopeful as she is. I'm a loyal friend definitely."

Sex And The City: The Movie is out on Wednesday May 28.
