Stevie Smith Boxing Academy - Professional & Amateur Boxing Training in Hull
Former World Champion Boxer and current British Boxing Board of Control Professional Boxing Trainer & Manager & Amateur Boxing Association Amateur Boxing Coach Stevie Smith opened the Stevie Smith Boxing Academy in Hull to give something back to the sport that he first participated in from the young age of 7.
Having had his first fight at the age of 11 and a promising Amateur career winning 75 out of 80 Amateur Bouts and many Amateur Achievements including 7 x National Amateur Champion, he went on to win 33 of 35 Professional Fights and won titles:
• IBC Light Welterweight World Champion
• IBF Lightweight Title
• German International Super Featherweight Title.
Stevie now uses his 31 years' experience in Boxing to help other hopeful Boxers, including training, managing & promoting both Amateur & Professional Boxers. Professional Boxing Shows in Hull have been a great success over the last two year and will continue to be for many years to come.
Since 2011 the Team presented many very successful Professional Boxing Shows at the Hull City Hall, winning titles on all dates and have due to the great success have scheduled many more dates for Boxing Events in 2013, both Professional & Amateur Boxing Shows

Fab Classes for Women!!
“Stevie Smiths Boxing Academy is a great place to train - we go to the Ladies Boxfit twice a week - this isnt your ordinary boring girly (lol) ladies boxercise this is a Full body workout where you even learn boxing techniques working in pairs and even a one-2-one sparring in the ring with Stevie, its a different routine/exercise each week. We love it we have a laugh but we do take it seriuosly and Stevie works us hard and praises us for out effort and we walk out of there on a high from such a fab workout. Its fully energized but also fun - No Pain No Gain as Stevie would say. The Stevie Smith Team are all great and really passionate about what they do and the place is so welcoming!! I was abit nervous when I first stepped in that ring ive never thrown a jab before but Stevie makes everyone feel at ease and soon teahces you the ropes!!! Great place!!! Ive been going now for around 4 months and still manage to ache after a workout!!! GO HARD OR GO HOME LOL!!!!!!! ”
