The team teach in a friendly, fun way but with the emphasis being on the technical and styling aspects of the dance, timing and musicality. The authentic latin music provided by DJ Rosi is always fantastic. The monthly Humba Rumba socials are a great way to make new friends and practice your dancing in a relaxed environment. I always look forward to them and highly recommend giving them a try, and now with dancers travelling from other parts of the country to attend them, the word is clearly out. ”

Humba Rumba Salsa has a variety of salsa classes for all ages and abilities. We aim to give quality tuition, with a real focus on technique and style to prepare you for the Salsa world. Our sessions are great fun and anyone can give it a go. Why not drop in? We also have regular events for all our members to come along and practice their new moves!

“Humba Rumba has enriched the Latin scene in Hull and their socials are attracting more and more dancers from neighbouring cities. That already tells about the high standards of the HR team. Myself has been learning with them for about two years and am always extremely pleased by the friendly and supportive atmosphere of their lessons, where the emphasis on the technical aspects never spoils the fun. “Need motivation to get out,get fit and meet new friends now that nights have drawn in and chill in the air? Then you should check out the friendly atmosphere of Humba Rumba salsa classes in Hull. The dance teaching team help everyone from complete beginners to more experienced and advanced dancers to learn dance techniques in a relaxed way at their own pace so that they can go and have fun on the dance floor. I have been going these classes for a couple of years and have met some lovely people and love the great range of salsa music they play. I really look forward to my latin nights and highly recommend Humba Rumba salsa. They are just great!”

“Humba Rumba Salsa classes are great fun! Whether you are a couple or are single you can just turn up with or without a partner. The atmosphere is fantastic and whats more its a great way of meeting new people as well as having a great night out. Even if you are a complete beginner and think you have two left feet its easier to do than you might think. The teachers are friendly and there are lots of friendly people. Would highly recommend Humba Rumba Salsa.”

Fun and friendly - easy to learn!
“Humba Rumba salsa classes are great for all levels of dancer, from absolute new-starters to more advanced and experienced dancers. They have a couple of different venues and nights, giving you plenty of choice to suit your free time, though many people go to all the classes (currently Sundays in Brough, Mondays on Newland Avenue and Wednesdays at Lloyds Bar No1 in Hull city centre) .

The team of teachers are very friendly and move at a pace to suit the class, so you don't feel left behind. I have been dancing for a long time now and have experienced lots of teachers, some good and some bad, and Humba Rumba is highly recommended if you want to try a salsa class in Hull.” -

“I've always loved dancing but finding these salsa classes has been the best thing that happened , the emphasis is on having fun and enjoying yourself whilst also learning great technique which you can then take to any salsa club venue . Great Fun!
“Been enjoying classes with the Humba Rumba team for about 2 years now and had lots of fun learning to dance. Venues are great with a friendly atmosphere, fab music and lovely people. Highly recommend Humba Rumba Salsa.”
