PROFILE:

Former soldier, joined his home town team Normanton and made a name for himself with his electrifying pace. Doncaster took a chance on the talented full-back and he repaid them with consistency for the Lakers. During the 2005 season he came to the attention of Hull KR with excellent performances, particularly against the Robins. Proved his worth and has been tipped to become an international in the future. Has developed into a creditable versatile player that offers covers at full back, centre, hooker and second row. In August, he signed a new deal to keep him at Rovers until the end of the 2011 season. A knee injury against Salford is expected to keep him on the sidelines for a few weeks at the same time he pleaded guilty to assault following an incident in Normaton in November 2007. The club decided not to sack the player after he was given a 12-month sentence suspended for 2 years in April. Instead he was suspended for seven weeks without pay while he completed his 240 hours community service.
