Fozzard is a typical old school prop and you know exactly what you get with him. He's a powerful ball carrier who runs straight at the defensive line willing to take hits in exchange for those vital extra metres. He joined Rovers at the end of the 2008 season after missing a huge chunk of the season because of a knee problem. But he returned in time to make a crucial contribution to Saints reaching the Grand Final. However, he was unable to sign off with a win. The experience he brings to Rovers will prove valuable.
