Cooke was left out of the Robins' squad which was beaten 44-18 at the KC Stadium by Hull, but could be seen on the sidelines before the game.
Although he was not carrying an injury, coach Justin Morgan said Cooke "was not fit for selection" in his post-match comments.
The Mail understands Morgan and chairman Neil Hudgell are scheduled to stage talks with Cooke in the next few days to try to resolve any issues.
