The old Wembley held fond memories for Gene - who scored a hat-trick in Rovers' 60-14 Silk Cup Plate final win in 1996 - and he wants a trip to the new stadium before he hangs up his boots.
Rovers take on Huddersfield on Sunday in the Challenge Cup fifth round hoping to take another step closer to a Wembley return.
