Hull KR recorded their first win of the season by beating Widnes 44-18 at MS3 Craven Park.
Rovers had the game won by half-time as they led 34-0. But the visitors won the second half 18-10 to bring a small degree of respectability to the score.

Rovers lost their first two games of the season after being out played by Catalan and Wakefield, but it was their turn to be dominant with the ball in hand.
Michael Dobson opened the scoring in the eighth minute following a lightening 60-metre break by Caro. Caro scored the second going 80 metres rolling his interception of a Rhys Hanbury pass.

On loan Dale Ferguson got his first try for the Robins before Kris Welham marked his return from a hand injury with a try under the posts.

rovers didn't have things their own way in the second half with Gareth Hock and Hanbury scoring to threaten a comeback. But Chris Heil and Craig Hall condemned the Vikings to their second defeat in a row despite Alex Gerrard rounding off the scoring in the 75th minute.
