CAISTOR'S two-day Septem- ber festival of arts and crafts in the Town Hall proved a huge success.

On the first day 350 people visited the splendid displays of local crafts exhibited by artists, photographers, and country craftsmen.

Organiser Sheila Broster said: "This was our third annual arts festival. There has been a really high standard and a friendly atmosphere. We had lots of good comments."

Winner of the best picture was Les Porter for A Hard Life.
