Two women seriously hurt in A165 crash
Two women have suffered serious head injuries after a two-car crash on the A165.
An 81-year-old woman and a 54-year-old woman were both airlifted to hospital following the accident yesterday.

Police said the 81-year-old remains in a serious condition in Hull Royal Infirmary. She has also suffered several broken bones.
The 54-year-old woman has also suffered a broken right shoulder.

Both women, who are from Pocklington, were in the back of a blue Nissan Note which collided with a Volkswagen Golf at the Grindale and Bempton crossroads at 12.30pm.
The 79-year-old male driver of the Nissan was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment for whiplash and remains in hospital.
The driver of the Golf, a 74-year-old man, and the front seat passenger, a 72-year-old woman, both from Bridlington, suffered whiplash and bruising and were taken to Scarborough General Hospital to be assessed.
The road was closed until 5.30pm.
