Three-year Hull City ban for football hooligan James Yates following York and Barnsley violence
A FOOTBALL hooligan has been banned from attending Hull City games for three years.
James Yates, 18, has been given a three-year football banning order by Hull Magistrates' Court.

DISORDER: James Yates has been given a football banning order.
It follows his involvement in violence at games against York and Barnsley.
Yates, of Perth Street, west Hull, was among 60 Hull City fans who travelled to a pre-season friendly away game against York City in July 2010.
Violence erupted before the game. Police had to escort Yates and others to the train station before the match had started.
In October 2010, Yates was one of 200 Hull City fans who attended an away fixture with Barnsley.
Hull Magistrates' Court heard the group were in the Harborough Hill Working Men's Club when fighting broke out. Damage was caused, including chairs being broken and piled in the centre of the room, glasses and bottles smashed and light fittings ripped from ceilings.
The incident caused hundreds of pounds of damage.
Hull Magistrates' Court heard Yates was directly involved in the disorder, for which he was given a community order last year.
Humberside Police applied for a banning order after his conviction.
Andrew Smith, football banning order co-ordinator, said: "Nationally, police forces are committed to stamping out disorder and violence linked to football.
"Humberside Police use football banning orders as one of their key tools in preventing disorder of this nature and will continue to do so in the future.
"Together with local football clubs and other police forces, these football banning orders make the matchday experience a lot more enjoyable and safer for the law-abiding majority."
The three-year order states Yates must not attend any football match in the UK and must hand in his passport during international matches.
He must notify the police of any change of his name, address or travel documents.
During Hull City matchdays, he is banned from attending any town or city where they are playing away four hours before the game and two hours after the game.
He is banned from entering any licensed premises within a mile-and-a-half of the KC Stadium when Hull City are playing at home four hours before a game and two hours afterwards.
Yates has been given a map showing the exclusion around the KC Stadium, which he must not enter.

"known shoplifters dont get banned from shops because they might steal."
Yes they do. Just one example.
"A PROLIFIC shoplifter, barred from every store in South Shields town centre, flouted his ban to steal meat."

“kanedigler,
What's this one thing that I've broken off a school?
I haven't been near one for years, and if I had, I wouldn't be breaking anything off it. I'm not a vandal.”
